Plum Island Transfers came for the day to TCS to teach a large group of students the tricks and versatility of her beautiful transfer designs.

Minus 19 degrees outside! But it’s hot in here for the much-anticipated Hayne Bayless workshop. We are all going home with the tips and tricks to make our own tools and fabulous patterns.

100 Jars. 100 Artists. 100 Years. To celebrate their 100th anniversary, AMACO invited 100 artists to create a glaze jar using their favorite AMACO products…and Kirsten was one of them!

Martha Grover made it look easy this weekend! What a joy to watch her throw and alter with such fluidity and grace. Our students made some stellar Martha-inspired pourers.

Lydia Pinkham Open Studios, an annual artists’ created by The Clay School owner, Kirsten Bassion, has grown leaps and bounds since its inception in 2005.

TCS students were lucky enough to have one last hands on workshop with Stuart Gair before he sailed off to the Archie Bray. We loved having him as a teacher for this last year and we can’t wait to see where he goes next.

Arthur Halvorsen’s tissue transfers were a hit! There’s nothing quite as fun and whimsical as Arthur’s surfaces, and we’re thrilled he spent the day sharing them with us!
