Western Mass Soda Fire Weekend!

Our first TCS field trip was fiery! On November 5 + 6, twenty of our TCS crew headed out to Shelburne Falls, MA for part two of our soda firing workshop with Ben Eberle. We spent the weekend glazing, loading, stoking, and soda spraying the kiln full of our wares (of course there was much revelry as well!), and then returned today to unload and see all the finished goodies. What an awesome experience! We can’t wait to do it again with another group of students.
