One Night Class
$60 price is per person
Instruction is aimed at first time students.
For Adults or Adults with children 14 year and older.
Instructor: Kyle Day
This will be a fun one-night clay experience.
Have you ever wanted to try the pottery wheel just once to see what it is all about? Come join us for one night at The Clay School for an intro to throwing! Grab your sweetie, bestie, family or come alone for a Saturday night of getting messy and trying your hands at wheel-throwing. Learn basic techniques, and throw a bowl or cup. Andi will walk you through all the steps from start to finish.
Keep one piece you make that night to be glazed and fired by our team.
Are you up for the challenge? The wheel is a hard skill to master!!!
Students will need to return approximately four weeks after class to pick up their finished pieces. Work made in class need to dry slowly and then be fired in a kiln twice before they are ready to use. Students will be able to select a glaze from a limited color palette that the instructors will apply to complete the piece after it has been through the first, “bisque” firing. (Participants enrolled in The Clay School are welcome to dry and glaze their own and their partner's work.) We will notify you when your pots are ready to be picked up!
