One Night Class
All levels welcome!
Instructor: June Lee
This will be a fun one-night clay experience. If you're brand new to clay, you'll get to try your hand at slab building a mug with help from the instructor. Students familiar with clay will get to relax and create alongside their date for the night, practicing their own forms with guidance from the instructor. Each student will work on their own mug which will be fired and glazed for you after the class.
BYOB if you want and we will provide the rest!!
Students will need to return approximately three weeks after class to pick up their finished pieces. Work made in class need to dry slowly and then be fired in a kiln twice before they are ready to use. Students will be able to select a glaze from a limited color palette that the instructors will apply to complete the piece after it has been through the first, “bisque” firing. (Participants enrolled in The Clay School are welcome to dry and glaze their own and their partner's work.) We will notify you when your pots are ready to be picked up!
