Total Beginner - Advanced
Instructor: Elizabeth Bocknick and Erica von Schilgen
Elizabeth and erica will cover both wheel-throwing and hand-building. This class will consist of frequent demonstrations as well as group and individual discussions will help to expand your knowledge about the materials and techniques Elizabeth and Erica have spent years mastering. We will create usable pottery that will all be dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and of course food safe!!
Adult classes are for freshman in high school and older and include: one 25 lb. bag of white or red stoneware clay; 24/7 studio access via an Open Studio Hours signup sheet; all glazes and firings
You will need a basic 8-piece tool kit. You can buy one at the studio for $28 or order one before you start class. We like the Kemper kit from dickblick.com or TheCeramicShop.com.
