Instructor: Kyle Day
This class is for everyone who has been wanting to try their hand at clay! Kyle is a fantastic teacher, skilled at making the fundamentals of clay make sense. Kyle will cover both wheel-throwing and handbuilding techniques. This will be one of our first classes in our newly renovated 4th floor studio expansion, so come be a founding member of the new Thursday night crew! You will create usable pottery that will all be dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and of course food safe!
Adult classes are for freshman in high school and older and include: one 25 lb. bag of white or red stoneware clay; 24/7 studio access via an Open Studio Hours signup sheet; all glazes and firings
You will need a basic 8-piece tool kit. You can buy one at the studio for $28 or order one before you start class. We like the Kemper kit from dickblick.com or TheCeramicShop.com.
