Total Beginner - Advanced
Instructor: Kyle Day
This class is for all levels. Kyle is a fantastic teacher, skilled at making the fundamentals of clay make sense and at helping experienced students find their path in clay. Kyle will cover both wheel-throwing and handbuilding techniques with separate projects for brand new beginners and experienced potters. Kyle is excellent at offering one-on-one feedback and loves being a part of your pottery journey. You will create usable pottery that will all be dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and of course food safe!
Adult classes are for freshman in high school and older and include: one 25 lb. bag of white or red stoneware clay; 24/7 studio access via an Open Studio Hours signup sheet; all glazes and firings
You will need a basic 8-piece tool kit. You can buy one at the studio for $28 or order one before you start class. We like the Kemper kit from dickblick.com or TheCeramicShop.com.
