When you sign up for any class at TCS, you sign up understanding that the pandemic is out of our control and we will not be giving refunds or postponing our classes as we will switch to online learning. We will continue to teach the highest level of ceramics education through our Clay School @Home Studio Program. There are no refunds if you get sick of need to drop out for personal reasons. We will make up all classes that The Clay School needs to cancel (but this almost never happens unless it snows!)

YOU CHOOSE HOW TO PAY
3 WAYS TO PAY FOR CLASSES
(Paying is registering)
***Check back here on Feb 15 for all the live links to pay
***NOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION: Below are the many ways you can pay (and by paying you are registering).
This process is done by hand by Kirsten and she accepts everyone in order of their registration arrives in her email. This is not an automated system so hang tight, she will respond as quickly as possible. If there is no space left in a class you are trying to get into she will let you know and can refund you if no other class options work for you. Waitlists can be made for any class but they are erased after the session gets going and don't carry over into the next session's registration. If you can't get into the class you want please try again next registration day!
Here are the payment options:
1. PayPal or Venmo (on mobile devices)- Use your credit or debit card or Venmo to pay . There is a $12 convenience fee. MAKE SURE YOU USE BOTH DROP DOWN MENUS IN PAYPAL!! The First selects the correct # of weeks for your class and the Second selects the class day of the week.
2. e-Check - pay online by check, has no extra convenience fees
3. Check - You can still write a check and mail or leave it in the studio's rent box (please inform me by email so I can save you a spot)

Payment and Refund Policy
Payment is expected after you register to save your space in class, unless you have made other arrangements with Kirsten. Payment plans can be set up if need be.
Since almost all of our classes run full, if you register for class that means that someone else has been turned away to save your place in class. For this reason we cannot offer refunds if you decide to drop-out of class for any reason (family emergency, covid, illness or injury, work schedule changes, unexpected invitations to travel the world) unless you drop out MORE THAN A WEEK (7 Days) BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. If you drop out more than a week before class begins we will refund your class fee minus a $50 registration fee. Otherwise if you are within a week of the first class starting or your class has already started, we will be unable to refund you. We will make every effort to accommodate you if you need to switch classes due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts or other such emergencies or events but can not guarantee a spot in another class if they are already full.
It is our goal to make you happy and to teach you the joy of working with clay.

We don't prorate classes if you are going away on vacation or just going to miss a few. Please, please feel free to make-up any class you might miss by attending another class being offered during the same session. You do need to check with the teacher first to make sure they have room for you in the class you want to attend. Make-up classes may be hard to schedule or impossible depending on the class size. We can also send you a video project from our library in lieu of a make-up class. We do not guarantee a make-up class will be available for you that will work in your schedule but we will try. Make-up classes do not carry over into the next 8 week session.
We want you to work, have fun, and get the most out of your time at The Clay School.
